President's Report

What a great year it has been for the ACT Group, there have been so many great events and things to see in the Capital this year, there are just too many to list. A few highlights stand out, our ACT awards and the National Conference in Brisbane, the Year of the Built Environment will certainly be remembered for a great many things. The ongoing implementation of the Canberra Plan will make 2005 a very interesting year for our profession.

Thanks to everyone who has helped out during the year, again too many to list. Special thanks to the Committee and the Executive who come to all the meetings, talk through all the issues and do all they can to keep our group running so well. Thanks also to the National Office for all their help. The ACT Christmas party at the Durham Castle was a great night for all who came. Big thanks to those who took the time to organise it, especially at this busy time of year.

From everyone involved in the ACT AILA group, have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year and we look forward to seeing you all in 2005 and making it another year to remember.
