Join AILA and QFresh for a guided tour of Pacific Nurseries! We have a very exciting day planned where you can expect:
- Production manager, Shaun Harrold will lead a tour through their nursery grounds and provide insight into growing conditions, plant procurement and the nursery industry.
- Attendees will be able to see the progress of the Groundworks’ blower truck seed application from last year's event and how it has grown.
- Along with insights into utilising the blower trucks for commercial projects from Lucas Piperides (Groudworks) and in residential projects from Stuart Bull, AILA RLA.
- A complimentary plant to take home with you.
- Lunch and drinks will be provided on site for attendees
- Bus transportation from Brisbane City (Roma Street Station) to the nursery at Brunswick Heads and back (for those who need it).
‘Our Plants, Your Reputation’ Pacific Nurseries is a large-scale wholesale nursery that grows and supplies plant stock to the landscape, mining and infrastructure industries, located in Brunswick Heads and born from a desire to provide a sustainable nursery service. Pacific Nursery is proud to provide environmentally friendly, plastic free plant stock.
“We grow Forests” Groundworks is a market expert in environmentally-friendly landscaping, erosion and sediment control, revegetation and rehabilitation solutions.
We’ll be providing complimentary bus transportation from Roma Street Station departing at 8:00am, with commentary on some Groundworks projects and fun games for the journey. You are welcome to make your own way to the Nursery, tour will kick-off at 11:00am.
What to Bring:
Don’t forget to pack a water bottle, hat and apply sunscreen, your steel capped boots - and an umbrella if rain is forecast.
