AILA VIC 2024 Landscape Architecture Awards Ceremony Dinner and Afterparty 

We invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening to celebrate Victorian landscape architecture's projects and people through our 2024 Victorian AILA Awards program.

We are also pleased to announce that Hon. Sonya Kilkenny, Minister for Planning and Minister for the Suburbs, will also be joining us. 

We will be formally welcomed by a Wurundjeri Elder through a smoking ceremony to promote the wellbeing of Wurundjeri people and guests on Country. The Darbung Ceremony, continuing The Journey of the Darbang and passing of the message sticks, will also take place shortly after doors open at 6.30pm – don’t miss it! 

This year we are having a sit-down banquet – fully vegetarian to mark World Environment Day – and with new ticket prices for students and graduates. There will be tables of 10, so invite clients, industry peers and friends, and be sure to make use of the media wall for group photos. DJ Josh will also be with us all night! 

Don’t miss this celebration of our projects, community, friendships, and profession. We look forward to seeing you there!

Awards Presentation: Announcing the winners across 16 categories for the State Awards: Awards of Excellence, Landscape Architecture Awards, Regional Achievement Awards and ShadeSmart Awards as well as the presentation of the President’s Award and Future Leader Awards. 

Food & Beverages (full vegetarian menu): Canapés on arrival, 3-Course Dinner and 5-hour Drinks Service, Genovese coffee and Tea Drop tea. 
 
Photography: There will be a media wall and photo opportunities for winners, practices and all attendees with photographer Drew Echberg. 

After Party: Entertainment provided by Josh, our resident DJ - back again - to get us into the dancing groove!
