Editorial
Framework
Each edition
is generally devoted to having a range of writers addressing a
selection of topics of interest to
the profession.
Thematic issues
may be developed from time to time.
For the most
part these themes would comprise several key articles with the
other content being
focused on other relevant topics
and reports.
The editor reserves
the right to edit, abridge, alter or reject any material.
Views
expressed by named contributors are not necessarily those of
the publisher, the AILA or the editor.
Each issue
seeks to present a variety of writers and views, and for this reason
some items
may be held over
or not included.
The magazine
is prepared by the Editor on the basis of advice and ideas received
from the AILA's editorial advisory panel
with
respect to themes,
editorial copy, articles,
authors and other contributors for each edition.
The Editor provides
timely advice to contributors about decisions taken on material
submitted – for example, if the material
is to be accepted, edited, abridged, altered,
published in whole, or rejected.
The magazine
does not offer space for ‘advertorial’ text.
In other words, an advertiser should have no
expectation that editorial content will also be provided.
