Normal Student Registration fee: $275

Special Student Price - offered to accreditited student programs where 10 or students are registering for the conference. This special student program Fee is $198.

The student fee (either full student or special price) does not include cocktails (friday night) or the Conference Dinner (Sat Night).

Students applying for the special price ($198) under this category are checked against the program list - if deemed to be not on the list, then the funds will be refunded minus the admin costs.

Program Staff: please fill in the attached form and fax to the AILA National Office - to indicate 10 or more studnets will be registering under this special price structure.

The IFLA Eastern Region Conference is proud to announce a special Student Competition around the theme of “Time”. Landscape architecture is an ideal medium to express Time visually.

This competition challenges students of landscape architecture to explore the conference theme of Time through the process of site selection and design execution.

Participants are invited to select a site with conditions that evoke the concept of Time and to develop designs which investigate, interrogate, challenge and transform these conditions.

The design proposals should also reveal something about the social, cultural, economic or political conditions that the form the site’s context.

Entrants should explore the theme of Time through at least one of the three sub-themes: • Time as Catalyst • Designing with Time • Time and Technology

IFLA encourages all students to participate in its 2006 Eastern Region Conference and has organised a special Student Package to enable a cost-effective and diverse conference experience for international and interstate students.

Interstate and International Student Conference Package includes
