Kirsten Bauer

Kirsten Bauer is a Director of ASPECT Studios, an award winning design practice delivering on urban design, landscape architecture and living architecture. ASPECT Studios is committed to designing living environments that create wellbeing, sustainability and delight in urban life. Kirsten is a member of the Victorian Design Review Panel and other municipal design review panels in Victoria well as a long standing invited lecturer, critic and advisor at the University of Melbourne, RMIT University and Victoria University of Wellington. She has recently been appointed as Adjunct professor to RMIT University.

She has been working with the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust across Springvale Botanical Cemetery and with BVN architects on the soon to be completed re-envisioned Bunurong Memorial Park in south east Melbourne. These projects have delved into predicting and planning for future death practices and the change in life of cemeteries for our communities.
