Is there a group booking or company price?

Unfortunately, no - all registrations are based on individual prices and there are no group or company bookings.

Is it possible to purchase a day ticket or tickets just to attend a particular presentation?

No. The aim of the conference is to have discussions based on the presentations and to develop debates over the whole three days.

Delegates are encouraged to attend the whole event and to participate - ask questions, offer opinions and respond!

What are the "challenge forums" on the Saturday?

While the opening night (Thursday 11th) and the first full day (Friday) follow more or less the traditional format of theatre style presentations, we hope that the second full day (Saturday) offers an alternative format.

It is intended that presentations and presenters set up issues that are then challenged by respondents and by the delegates themselves (we encourage the “devil’s advocate” in the audience!

Will there be a Conference Cocktail Party and Dinner?

There will be no formal sit down dinner, however drinks and nibbles will be provided to delegates following the opening night presentations, and dinner will be provided to delegates on the final night. Attendance at these events is included for delegates in the ticket price and is intended as an opportunity to network in a casual environment.

Can a registration be shared?

Ticket sharing is not encouraged as it is intended that delegates attend the entirety of the conference and to engage in meaningful debate. However, should a delegate not be able to attend the entirety of the conference then yes, a ticket may be shared so that different people can attend at different times.

HOWEVER, the onus is on those sharing the tickets to make their own arrangements – tickets will not be held by Conference Staff!

Delegates may only share a ticket with someone of the same membership/fee status or someone with a lower cost ticket (ie a student ticket can only be used by a student, but a non-member ticket can be used by a student, member or non-member).

Entry tickets will be checked for each presentation so only one person may enter each presentation and tickets must be worn by delegates at all times throughout the conference.

I am vegetarian/vegan/gluten intolerant – will there be food available for me?

We do our best to ensure that there is a range of food available to cater for all needs, however we do ask that you be sure to fill out the “dietary requirements” on the registration page so that we know what those needs are.

As food will be served buffet style we would encourage delegates with specific dietary requirements to approach the buffet early to ensure that a range of foods that fit those requirements is available.
