AILA National Conferences - 2007-2012

The AILA National Council has mapped out a program of conference events for AILA nationally. Remember there is another layer of events, seminars and talks staged by the State Groups.

The historic arrangement for the AILA has been that the national conference and national awards have been every two years. 

The AILA National Council has agreed to the following timetable for major national conference events. This includes shifting the AILA and NZILA major conferences into separate years, has allowed for an AILA one day event in the off year, and has also separated the AILA national awards event away from the AILA major national conferences.


2008:

April 2008: NZILA National Conference/NZ Awards. 
The AILA encourages AILA members to attend and join with their NZILA colleagues.

Oct 2008: AILA one-day conference/AILA awards
Canberra, September (to be confirmed).


2009:
AILA 2009 National Conference
shifting perspective and practice
Melbourne 6th May - 9th May 2009


2010:

NZILA Major National Conference

AILA one-day national conference/national awards


2011:

AILA Major National Conference.


2012:

NZILA Major National Conference
