Deakin University is pleased to announce the commencement in March 2012 of a Master of Landscape Architecture by coursework degree that has been professionally accredited by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
The distinctiveness of this degree draws from the allied practice-rich knowledge and skill based of the oldest architectural program in Australia that is based at Geelong, with an emphasis upon place making, Indigenous knowledge systems, climate change and coastal management and urban design.
The course is based at Deakin's Geelong Waterfront Campus overlooking Corio Bay, which is an easy train commute from Melbourne.
The course can be undertaken full-time or part-time, limited Commonwealth Supported Places are now available for Australian residents, and has adopted Deakin's long-standing flexible delivery approach that is more responsive to applicant/practitioner work regimes and lifestyles as well as Deakin's Credit for Prior Learning system that recognises work experience as well as allied university/tafe qualifications.
