Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Landscape Architect to join our Strategic Projects team.
Reporting to the Manager Strategic Projects, you will assist with the planning, design, documentation and delivery of Council’s strategic parkland, sportsground, playground and urban design projects. This may include the preparation of design concepts, cost estimates, detailed designs, specifications and environmental assessments as well as community consultation and engagement.
Being able to successfully manage competing priorities and high volumes of work effectively within tight timeframes is a key requirement of this position, as is the ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
Knowledge of local government legislation and polices is essential, as is the ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and computer-aided drafting software such as Autocad, and Adobe Creative Suite
To be considered for this role you will require tertiary qualifications and experience in Landscape Architecture, a WorkCover WHS white card and Current Class C Drivers Licence.
