In December 2004 The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) appointed Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) a major International Insurance Broker to develop a membership based insurance programme in respect of Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
Since the official launch in 2005 of the AILA DesignPro Professional Indemnity scheme, the facility has enjoyed excellent take up rates attributed to competitive premiums and broad policy coverage geared specifically around Members risk profiles.
As a free value add service to Members subscribing to DesignPro, JLT will be launching an online Risk Management Training module which addresses the application of a Professional Indemnity policy and in particular covering off processes to minimise risk. The module will also provide Members with a number of management tools including letters of engagement and disclaimers. Upon successful completion of the training module, Members will be eligible to obtain further premium savings. Further details will be released closer in the near future.
We urge those Members who are not utilising this service to contact JLT for a no obligation comparative costing against their existing arrangement.
