Registered Landscape Architect (allowed to use the acronym AILA after their name)
Annual Fees for for professional membership (Registered): $528 (includes GST)
Fellows pay the same rate as above.
Overseas members: $528 total ($480 plus extra postage fee $48 - the extra is charged to cover overeas postage rates).

Membership ~ AILA Fellowship
Applications for Associate Membership are called for once a year
Usually in early February.

There are fees to join and to be interviewed.
Graduate Membership
Graduate membership
applies to those who have graduated from a recognised LA program
and are in their first five years of employment**.
Ist Year: $154 (incl GST)
2nd Year: $264 (incl GST)
3rd Year: $396 (incl GST)
4th Year: $528 (incl GST)
5th Year: $528 (incl GST)
The
fees will entitle you to copies of ‘Landscape Australia’, ‘Landmark’ (the
Institute’s own newsletter) as well as mailouts both national
and local and you will also be admitted as a member of the State
or Territory
Group in which you reside.
** This may be extended in special cases - such as to allow for an extended mentorship or if the mentorship is interrupted for maternity leave.
Student Membership

The

functions.
Overseas: The
fees are the same as above whether in Australia or overseas.
Retired Members:$264 (incl GST)
This status only available to full professional members
~ Associates or Fellows ~ on completion of statement of retirement.

only to those not qualified under the other categories
Affiliate membership: $264 (incl GST)
AILA Part Payments
The part payment option is available to Graduate, Associate and Fellow
members.
Arrangements need to be made prior to 1st July 2008. Note:
Extra fees applies.
(Creditcard
details are recorded then processed on
prearranged
dates).
Part payments are not available for Graduates Level
1 and 2, retired members, students or affiliates.
