AILA Salons

The AILA Salons

The Third AILA Salon is with ASPECT Studios
a design-driven multi-disciplinary practice that advocates beyond best practice to achieve sustainable solutions through a culture of excellence, innovation, passion and confidence. This is demonstrated through numerous awards and the quality of their built and strategic work.

They place emphasis on design exploration and design process, and support collaboration and participation with the best exponents of the arts, sciences and technical professions to expand the known challenges of practice.

Projects currently in the studio are spread widely from Public work of all scales to social housing, master plans to competitions and pro - bono work.

The Salon will take an informal look at the thinking behind three projects of varying programmes and scales.
They encourage participation and your attendance!

    • Richard Johnson Square - Sydney City
    • Darling Walk - Public Realm and play environment - Darling Harbour.
    • Macquarie Fields Social Housing master plan
