AILA NSW PRACTICE WORKSHOP
for new applicants undergoing the 2011 - 2012 mentorship

The AILA NSW Group is running a half-day workshop for the 2011 - 2012 registration applicants who have just commenced their mentorships.

The workshop has been designed to assist both the applicants and their mentors - so mentors are encouraged to attend as well.

All AILA members are also welcome to attend and participate in the discussions.

The workshop program will highlight several key topics to be covered for AILA Registration:

  • professionalism

  • legal aspects

  • administrative  aspects

  • project consultancy skills

2011 Registration Applicants will be receiving by email a copy of the AILA Registration Study Guide. The  discussions will refer to this guide plus set the priorities for further research and will outline  potential sources of information.

All applicants will explore the relationship between practice across the private and public sectors.

The format will include  brief targeted presentations along with panel discussions by a diverse group  of practitioners from  private and public practice and academia:

Crosbie Lorimer FAILA,  Clouston Associates
Graham Fletcher AILA,  Faculty of the Built Environment  UNSW
Ingrid Mather FAILA, JMD Design
Carolyn Tallents FAILA, DEM
Adam Fowler AILA , City of Sydney
Justine Kinch,  Clouston Associates

Places are limited so please register now by contacting Christina Bunbury, AILA NSW State Manager, nsw@aila.org.au
