HARRY HOWARD (1930-2000)

Harry Howard was a well known Landscape Architect who was a member of the Sydney School. He is best known for his landscape design for the Sculpture Garden at the National Gallery of Australia and the adjacent High Court. This piece of work has been highly influential on a generation of Landscape Architects.

In 1996, Howard received an Australian Award from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the profession.
