The Whitford Bushland Reserve is a key asset within the City of Playford 's Management Strategy for Open Space and the State's biodiversity plans. This report provides a competent and detailed planning study focused on recreational trails, environmental education and native vegetation enhancement and regeneration.
The use of volunteers in its implementation has assisted the Whitford Bushland Reserve to raise community awareness on biodiversity, support local ecosystems and become an important component of the Borda to Barossa NatureLInks strategy.
The City of Playford and Hillary Hamnett and Associates are to be congratulated on a well researched and prepared study which will guide ongoing biodiversity and recreational outcomes.
