Kings Park and Botanic Gardens, Perth

This large picturesque park is Perth’s landmark public park, sited on Mt Eliza and overlooking Perth CBD.

It is regarded as significant for its aboriginal cultural values, large areas of urban bushland as well as displaying examples of late 19th century and early 20th century designed landscapes.

The Western Australian Botanic Gardens which display local plant material are also located within the park.

Recent developments within the park include a contemporary playground designed by Landscape Architects, Plan E.
