Brisbane's North Bank Project (proposed)

In 2006-2007 Brisbane City Council proposed the North Bank scheme which would significantly enlarge the size of Brisbane's CBD. The proposal caused some discussion especially as it seemed to be reclaiming a portion of the river.

The City Council called for comment and held a public consulation period - closing 14th March 2007.
