Salary Survey - 2007
The
results of the surveys of employee salaries*
has been provided as one indicator of the salaries
being paid in 2005, 2006, 2007.
Averages
have been used.
Unfortunately the results from smaller states are not always able to be used as there is the risk
that members/respondents could be identified.
In 2005, we received about 240 repsonses.
In 2006, there
was an improved response of 410.
in 2007, there were 460 responses
Some of the response numbers
are in brackets below the state titles - but again, they
are not all there in order to ensure privacy.
These results are just that - the results
of a survey of those members that responded.
The AILA has no salary scales nor can it recommend
any salary scales. The setting of salaries remains with
the individual employee and employer. It is illegal in Australia
to have set professional fee or salary scales.
This survey is one set of figures that provide a rough indication or reflection of
trends.
