Georgina Wright

Georgina Wright is described as being a 'truth seeker' who passionately embraces the work she is given. She has succeeded in solving intricate problems with creativity and rigour both as a team participant and project leader.

In her own time, Georgina makes a positive contribution to the culture of the profession through her written contributions to Kerb, as a tutor/lecturer and guest critic at RMIT and through her participation in the Mesh Student Conference.

She is also active in raising awareness, funds and support for the Kupa Piti Kungka Tjuta (female indigenous elders in Cooper Pedy) in their struggle against the nuclear waste dump at Woomera, SA.

Georgina is a graduate landscape architect whose work includes projects such as the Labertouche Cave Master Plan, Parkhaven Park, Melbourne Airport Transit Link, Moreland Open Space Strategy Review and the Juction Skate Park.

Her contribution to and passion for the discipline is evidenced by her constant presence in the media and public realm of landscape architecture. She regularly contributes to print media and industry events and initiatives.
