VICTORIA HARBOUR URBAN DESIGN STUDIES

Landscape Architect:
EDAW (Aust) Pty Ltd

Jury Comments
The Street Tree and Streetscape and Laneway Urban Design Studies have been undertaken to guide the development of the Victoria Harbour precinct within Melbourne's Docklands precinct.  The studies initially focused on the significant streets and lanes within Melbourne's CBD to determine the physical attributes and parameters that exist in more vibrant streets.  This data has been used to help develop the future guidelines for Victoria Harbour's streetscapes.

The detailed field work of the project has been comprehensively researched and recorded with input from the future managers of the Victoria Harbour streetscapes.  The input from expert specialists in various disciplines also adds value to this body of knowledge.
