Special Awards

Australian Award for Landscape Architecture

Jim Sinatra
This is a professional achievement award that recognises an individuals special contribution to Landscape Architecture in Australia.

Through his teachings, writings and impressive body of built work, Jim has influenced and inspired a generation of Australian landscape architects. The citation describes Jim as provocateur, humanist, advocate, educator, mentor, artist, practitioner, author, and friend.
 

AILA Victoria Award for Outstanding Service

Alun Chapman
This new award acknowledges a special contribution at a state level to the profession and was presented to Alun Chapman to acknowledge the outstanding leadership Alun provided to AILA during his term of office as State President from 2001- 2003.
