Nathan Greenhill AILA - JURY CHAIR
A Landscape Architect with a passion for planning and design of recreation and tourism experiences in natural areas ensuring people can connect with and appreciate WA’s unique landscapes. Coordinator of the Recreation, Planning and Design Unit in Western Australia’s Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and AILA WA President 2015-2017.

Brett Wood-Gush
Brett is uniquely qualified, holding degrees in Architecture, Town Planning and a Masters of Urban Design. He has over 25 years local and international experience in government and private practice.
Brett’s collaboration with Landscape Architects spans from the award winning 6 Star Green Star rated masterplan community of Alkimos to the nationally recognised Scarborough Foreshore. His is a chair of the Development WA Design Review Panel and sits on a number of design advocacy committees.
He is Precinct Design Director on projects with DevelopmentWA and Metronet.
Sabrina Hahn
Sabrina Hahn is a whole lot of Hort with Heart – a master gardener, horticultural expert, radio presenter and writer. She has passion for the creation of sustainable environments that make cities more livable. Her aim is to educate listeners in the importance of creating biodiversity in their own backyards. She believes that the diminishing green spaces in urban areas play a vital role in returning biodiversity into cities and offering people a space for physical and mental well-being.
Peter Woodward FAILA
Peter has a broad professional experience with over 30 years in private practice, taking numerous projects from initial sketches to construction. In addition to core work within the urban design, recreation and multi residential sectors, he has undertaken numerous heritage- based projects which have been approached with a sensitive sense of place design, focussing upon the public realm. He was honoured by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects with a Fellowship in 2016.
Peter sat on the Rottnest Heritage Advisory Committee between 2005-2010 and was an active member of the Heritage Council’s Register Committee from 2012 -2019. Peter sits on the board of the Fremantle Biennale and also curated the 2019 architectural component -UNIT. Peter is a Director at Woodward Design.
Daniel Firns AILA
Daniel provides design leadership for the UDLA studio and is known as a collegiate and generous collaborator - equally comfortable working alongside other design professionals and laypeople alike. Daniel is focused on determining the best and simplest outcomes for each project on a place by place basis - bringing no stylistic agendas to the table and instead relying on a robust and expansive ideas driven design process that is grounded in strong fundamentals.
Kate FitzGerald RAIA
Kate FitzGerald founded Whispering Smith Architects in 2011, with the intention of delivering high-quality urban infill housing in Perth. To further this aim, Kate also took on the role of Developer in 2014, building one of Perth’s first carbon-neutral triplex developments in Scarborough, which include the State AIA Award winning small project, House A. Kate is a prolific public speaker and writer, and has utilised these platforms to become a positive and passionate advocate for better housing in Perth.
