Here’s a quick message to say hello and give you an update on recent events in our chapter. It has been a whirlwind start to July and I feel a theme of “change” is underway with a lot on the cards in the coming months. Our recent AGM saw the election of a new executive to the chapter:

Notice AILA ACT Chapter Meeting || Thurs 25 July


The 2019 AILA ACT Annual Chapter Meeting will be held at 5:30pm on Thursday 25 July at the AILA National Office, Unit 2, Level 1 131 City Walk Canberra ACT. To nominate for the AILA ACT Executive please complete form and return it to act@aila.org.au by 5pm Monday 15 July 2019. Nominations for the Executive will be circulated prior to the meeting.

"Remaking Lost Connections"  - an ideas competition


The ACT Chapter of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA), in partnership with the National Capital Authority (NCA), Environment Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) and the City Renewal Authority (CRA), invite design and planning professionals to explore issues pertaining to climate change through retrieving or re-inventing‘lost connections’ in Canberra’s cultural, natural and built environments. 
There will be an award of $10,000 for First Prize and $2,500 for up to two Commendations.
