Introducing new AILA ACT partner: Glascott Landscape & Civil
Glascott Landscape & Civil is delighted to announce its partnership with AILA ACT. Already a Major Partner of AILA Victoria, they aim to extend their relationship with landscape architects through this new association in the ACT.
Operating for nearly 30 years with offices in Canberra, Sydney Brisbane and Melbourne, Glascott are one of Australia’s largest landscape construction companies. They work extensively with landscape architects, government bodies, developers and builders to create urban spaces that encourage a sense of community. They deliver a wide range of projects including residential community assets, commercial developments, infrastructure projects, environmental, heritage sites and more.
ACT Manager, Matthew Elliott said partnering with AILA is a natural progression. “We have exceptional relationships in our regions and have worked on incredible projects. Partnering with AILA ACT only strengthen that and we’re excited to support the landscape industry.”
Looking around the region, there are many sites Glascott has touched including the Beijing Gardens on Lake Burley, and more recently, Craft Your Park Finn Street. They have worked extensively at Googong township for PEET Communities over the past 5 years and continue to deliver community assets. Last year, Glascott helped Laing O’Rourke to upgrade the CSIRO Black Mountain campus and delivered new National Boer War Memorial for Group GSA.
Nationally, the business has delivered high profile public spaces including Cockatoo Island and The Goods Line in Sydney. They are currently working with Laing O’Rourke in Brisbane to deliver infrastructure at Amberley RAAF Base, and in Victoria, create the AILA Victoria award-winning Rosebud Foreshore Playspace.
Mr Elliott said passion and sheer determination for quality is what drives them. “We understand our responsibility in delivering on the landscape vision, which is why we approach our project openly and flexibly without compromising on quality.”
Glascott are Federal Safety Commission (FSC) accredited, which means they their safety practices meet highest standard on Australian construction sites and they can deliver federally funded projects.
Glascott are thrilled to partner with AILA ACT and look forward to a mutually rewarding association. For more information and site tours, contact Mr Matthew Elliott on 6262 8544 or visit their website, www.glascott.com.au
