Peta-Maree Ashford, FAILA
AILA’s agility has seen us thrive during Covid-19 forging a stronger professional community. As a current committed board member, I seek your support for re-election. I am committed to strong governance and a sustainable AILA, specifically focused on: strengthening our registration process; engaging members in discussions around legal recognition; implementing initiatives like the high school engagement program and the gender equity next steps report; and continuing our reconciliation journey. I will continue drawing on my 20 years’ consultancy experience - listening, learning, representing, and passionately advocating for the critical role of landscape architects in responding to our changing environment.

Ben Willsmore, FAILA
With over 20 years’ experience, I am inspired by the ability for Landscape Architects to influence positive change across a wide spectrum of strategy, policy and projects. The impact of COVID and the declining state of our climate (IPCC 6), highlights the opportunity for our profession to lead meaningful and urgent change in how we plan, design and manage our natural and built environments. If elected, I would leverage my experience as State President (2015-2019) and on the Adelaide Park Lands Authority, to support collaboration across our membership, to elevate learnings as we emerge from COVID, and to position AILA centrally in the critical conversations on our climate future.

Andy Sharp, AILA
I am a proven collaborator and leader. In senior client-side roles within government, I am responsible for public/private investment redefining our cities. Colleagues have characterised me as an urban thinker and design leader capable of making complex city-scale planning and policy decisions using experience backed judgement, strong management understanding and collaborative delivery models. As a Registered Landscape Architect, I have C-suite and Board experience to act in the interests of the profession bringing a much-needed client-side view to the Institute.
