The tour will examine
- Transitioning award-winning design into operational reality - River Quay Green
- Managing a curated vegetable garden with community involvement - Epicurous
- Trees are great but... how do you manage the huge public demand for green lawn under now large shady established trees?
- Playgrounds designed to perform - River Green Playground is arguably the most intensively used playground in Australia - how has it stood up?
In addition the new Riverside Green space has recently been completed and will be available for viewing. This event is planned as both a social and informative "out in the park" walking tour. Breakfast picnic will be served on arrival.
Shaun Walsh will lead the tour and be joined by guests to discuss the different areas of the parklands including Daniel Kallis from Hassell and Ben Urban.
