Presentation 1
Grady Brand (Kings Park and Botanic Garden's Senior Curator) and Jeremy Thomas (Kings Park and Botanic Garden's Curator of Arboriculture)  Key considerations for a successful integrated approach to urban horticulture including strategies for natural vegetation, native trees, landscapes of cultural significance and building identities for future heritage.

Presentation 2.       
Rob Bodenstaff  (Arbor Centre) Meeting the challenges of tree selection in urban settings to support a successful and integrated strategy.

 

A 30 minute Chaired Panel Q & A session (Grady Brand, Jeremy Thomas, David Smith, Rob Bodenstaff, Luke Lumbus, Charlie Firth).

 

The objective of the presentations is to be thought provoking and create awareness of the kind of solutions that could be explored further, in addressing some of the broad and site specific challenges in this area.
