Last year AILA presented a webinar on BIM which focused on the utilisation of specific BIM technology for Landscape Architects. This time, we continue our exploration of BIM, but with a fresh perspective focusing on collaboration within the industry. This session will focus on how Landscape Architects can play a pivotal part in coordination with Engineers, Architects, Councils and Asset Owners by using an open BIM technology strategy.

The presenters for this event are: 

• Aidin Blockley – City of Dandenong – Senior Landscape Architect & Urban Designer, Strategic & Environmental Planning, City Futures
  Aidin will discuss the City of Dandenong’s business integration strategy and share how they are integrating with multiple technologies from multiple vendors to create an integrated strategy for project delivery. He will also discuss the benefits and obstacles of delivering BIM infrastructure.
  
  
• Des Ceronio - Autodesk - Account Executive, Autodesk Water Infrastructure
  Des will provide an overview of how a sustainable water approach fits into the project lifecycle. He will discuss how Landscape Architects can collaborate with their water engineers or create systems to implement a coordinated strategy internally.
  
  
• Ramin Shojaie – SME Landscape – Nexsys
  Ramin will assume the role of Landscape Architect and take you through the project lifecycle journey utilising multiple industry-leading technologies to create a communication, collaboration and coordination integrated workflow.
