WEBINAR: Art + Play for Community, presented by Proludic

Join us for this CPD webinar presented by National Supporting Corporate Partner, Proludic.

The webinar will feature a case study of Swan Hill's Riverside Adventure Playground from Claire Reynolds, Senior Landscape Architect at Thomson Hay Landscape Architects.  Following the case study, Madeleine Walding from Proludic will speak about Grafic Games, an award-winning innovation by Proludic that combines artwork with Proludic play equipment. It is an ideal way to enhance any playspace and create strong links to local culture and the environment.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session where we will welcome Claire, Madeleine, and Nathan Keighran from Swan Hill Rural City Council from the client perspective.

Attendees can complete a CPD reflective activity after viewing the session to claim 2 Formal CPD points for their attendance.

Zoom details for the session will be sent out the day prior to the webinar.

Project Snapshot
The Swan Hill Active and Adventure Riverside Playspace was designed, documented and constructed in 2019.  The built project is a well-used playspace for the local community, as well as visitors - creating a comfortable space for all ages.  Our design embraced the reuse of industrial / agricultural materials from the district.  We developed the playground concept to include features to showcase artwork and the living culture of the region's First Nations communities.  This project has delivered an exciting playground which is unique to Swan Hill and will last well for generations to come.
