Street Furniture Australia shares insights from a five-year journey to achieving Climate Active certification across all products and operations - with emissions reduction targets that are verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

A behind-the-scenes case study on the design of a public seat illustrates how data, engineering and long-term thinking inform more sustainable design outcomes. The presentation will also challenge common assumptions about sustainable material choices. 

Landscape architects will leave with actionable tips for specifying products that both perform in the public realm and align with environmental goals.
