VIC Member Briefing: DEECA - Guide for Open Space Strategies

AILA Victoria invites you to join an online member briefing on the recently launched Guide for Open Space Strategies (GOSS). This member briefing follows up on AILA's GOSS Practice Forum for landscape architects working within public practice. Thank you to AILA members for their input and helping to shape the updated GOSS.

Fran Horsley, Manager Open Space for Everyone, Deportment of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), will provide an overview of the new guide and answer any questions. This session will be chaired by AILA VIC Executive, Joanna Bush.

The recently released GOSS provides a guide for landscape architects and public open space managers in preparing local open space strategies. It aims to stimulate thinking and guide strategic planning and decision making about current and future provision and design of open space at a local scale.
