Kim Mahood is a writer, artist and mapmaker. She has written two non-fiction books, Craft for a Dry Lake and Position Doubtful – Mapping Landscape and Memory, and an essay collection, Wandering with Intent. Her essays are published in art, literary and public affairs journals, and her artwork is held in state, territory and regional collections.
She divides her time between a dual-occupancy property outside Canberra, and extended trips to remote Australia for map-making projects.
