Landon Bannister has been working in the lighting industry for over 20 years and has a keen interest in the important role light plays in our experience of the built environment. Since returning to Tasmania in 2014, he has become a passionate advocate for restoring the stars to our urban skies and reducing the environmental impacts of light pollution. He is chair of the technical committee at the Australasian Dark Sky Alliance, and president of Dark Sky Tasmania Inc.
