Dear Members
On behalf of the AILA’s Victorian group, I wish everyone a happy new year and a warm welcome to the year of the rabbit (or cat depending on which lunar calendar you follow). I’m hoping all members have had a chance to reset after a hectic 2022, and are ready to face the year ahead.
There are many exciting projects occurring across Victoria over the coming year. I’m equally excited by the enormous range of infrastructure projects as I am by the community driven projects that demonstrate the passion and resilience of communities across the state. I’m also aware of some of the hardships facing some communities across Australia and the important role landscape architects have in contributing to their recovery.
As we embark on 2023, I’m looking forward to an exciting calendar of AILA events and activities and of course, many catch-ups with friends and colleagues throughout the year.
