The session will include a presentation on the Mawson Lakes project showcasing outcomes and the processes undertaken to deliver this project.
A Riverside Masterplan project will be used as a basis for the session and participants will workshop lighting solutions in small groups. Garry Talbot and Peter Buckley from Buckford Illumination Group and Andrew Richardson - Lighting Designer from WE-EF will provide technical advice to support this workshop component of the session to suggest innovative and alternative ways to look at lighting design solutions.
Buckford will also provide details for a new design service available to AILA members to support your practice in the early design stages for projects.
This service aims to provide lighting solutions that can be embedded early on in projects to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Learning Outcomes will include:
- AS Standards requirements in relation to safety and environment
- Light distribution
- Light Colour
- Dark Sky Requirements
A light breakfast will be provided.
