The quality of landscape architecture in NSW is recognised with 59 submissions for the 2018 AILA Awards and entries across all 13 categories.
This year’s Awards Exhibition evening will be held at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability at Waverton, (just a short 10 minute walk from the Waverton train station).
View the AILA NSW Award entries together with the AILA Heritage Landscape Conservation Listing Project. This project is an AILA NSW initiative and it was funded by the NSW Heritage Council through a Community Heritage Grant nominating landscape heritage places for the NSW State Heritage Register. The project is the consolidation of work undertaken over 2 ½ years.
Enjoy an evening of networking viewing the scope of green infrastructure in NSW with an opportunity to also join a guided tour of the historical Coal Loader Platform. After many years from concept to completion, you can learn about the creation of one of Sydney’s largest publicly accessible green roof spaces on the old coal loading platform.
