Gledswood Hills is part of the South West Priority Growth Area managed by Camden Council. The new suburb of Gledswood Hills, gazetted on 9th December 2011, is bounded by Camden Valley Way, Raby Rd and Gregory Hills Drive. It includes a 27 hole golf course and will eventually have 3000 houses. The first estate to be released is The Hermitage and includes the historic homestead of Gledswood as a central feature.
Maintaining an 'urban feel' for the community within areas that have high levels of population density, this event includes presentations by key developer Sekisui House and contributors to the project, providing a wide range of different perspectives.
Key developer Sekisui House will explore the model of the 3 precincts and their 5-pillar philosophy, while showcasing the landscape of The Hermitage and the importance of environmental sustainability.
Participate in a walking tour of the beautiful grounds of The Hermitage, exploring the Walking Path Cycleway and pocket parks in the precinct with consultants Tract, and see wetland rehabilitation in the South Creek Corridor with landscape contractors Co-Ordinated Landscapes.
Hear speakers from Andreasens Green explain their contribution to this fantastic project and share your thoughts in a question and answer session with all our speakers.
This is an event that will truly showcase the different roles involved in a large project and the importance each plays in achieving a successful outcome and a shared vision.
