VIC Your Digital Presence: Surviving the Device Age

VIC Your Digital Presence: Surviving the Device Age

In the dynamic world of design communication,
do you wonder how information technology
continues to revolutionise the way design
is seen, read, written and ‘consumed’?

During this session, you will discover the high-level principles of how to build a healthy and vibrant digital presence, while avoiding the pitfalls and professional risks associated with the fast-paced digital environment. You will learn how to effectively use social media to tell and present your ‘design stories’ when targeting peers, clients and the wider community.

Learn about the strengths of Facebook and Instagram to deliver content that will promote engagement and how much tweeting is too much. This session will also discuss social media policy for practices and what it should include.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions as part of this pacey and pertinent survey of the digital landscape and how it relates to the world of design.
