The National Practice Committee ('NPC') is seeking a new member. If you are passionate about practicing, have knowledge to contribute, want to connect with other key members and contribute to making AILA a better organisation, we would REALLY like to hear from you.
Being involved is not onerous - allow 2 hours a month, and all meetings are via teleconference. The NPC's primaryrole is to develop strategies to improve the support, services and benefits that AILA provides to those in private practice. The current focus of the committee is ensuring the Tree of Knowledge is the best it can be.
TheNational Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee is also needing new energy. Similarly this committee's current remit is also the Tree of Knowledge, as well ensuring LA's have access to good CPD, enabling them to maintain competencies required for ongoing registration and for the practice of landscape architecture through all stages of their professional career.
Click here for the both the NPC and CPD's Terms of Reference and a list of current members. Please express your interest in being involved by emailing us here- equally feel free to call us in national office, we are happy to walk you through what's involved, if you are tempted but unsure.Being part of the national committee structure is a rewarding experience for all involved.
